Help! Found strange, brown shells covered in a a light yellowish, pinkish fuzz by my window on the inside?
Not sure what they were but i threw them out and the shells were hard and i cracked one open. the fuzz covered the several brown shells in a sort of mat-like formation and they were collected around my window. Any help?
Sounds like you have a small mold issue. Mold is very harmful to people who are allergic to it. Mold is created by warm temps and moisture, so it is very common to see it around windows. Mold spores are too small to see when you have them that big they are a colony. best thing to do is to vacuum them up. Wash the spot with a cleaner, if its white i recommend bleach. If not try Lysol or OTO-Ban, which you can get from stores. Make sure you clean it all up or it will just keep growing.
