Decorating Ideas For Cafe/Coffee Themed Kitchen?
I’m going to go with a cafe/coffee theme for my kitchen, I’ve found some cute curtains and wall border so far but what I’m looking for is some CREATIVE (cheap) ideas for decorating.
Things I can make and unique ideas, table center piece, wall decor, stylish organizing, etc.
Or even if you see something online that’s not a million dollars and would look good with this theme!
The colors I am going with are a rusty red color, brown, tan and possibly black.

This is the theme in my kitchen!
I use latte mugs (the large deep ones) all over to hold stuff: scrubbies and sponges by the sink, condiment packets (leftovers from take out), even in the bathroom (a white mug) to hold soaps, makeup brushes or what have you.
For a center piece – fill mug with coffee beans and put a flower (in a bud vase in the center) or just beans (agitate the beans every so often to refresh the scent.
Add hooks to inexpensive coasters (coffee themed of course) to hang kitchen utensils from.
Target has a trivet that is silhouette of a steaming cup of coffee.
A framed print on the wall (black frame and gold that matches the Harvest gold in my stove) that has “Mocha” on it.
There are decent coffee themed kitchen accessories at Wal-Mart and K-Mart right now, including rugs. Target had some a few years ago and I have 3 flour sack towels on a tension rod over my sink (no window). Anything to continue the theme.
Make fun place mats – laminate pics from books or magazines OR stamp or iron-on transfer fabric mats. Mine are store bought, but cheap; I think TJMaxx.
I rent and I have mismatched appliances but I have a black microwave, toaster oven, cappuccino maker (of course), utensils, pots and pans, dishes. Gold/camel is sort of the accent. Having a color and a theme unifies the room as much as it can be unified. I’m still working on this.
The colors you plan to work with are somewhere in my kitchen and blend well.
