Is cotton voile a dressy or casual fabric?
I’m struggling to find a cute skirt that I can just wear *anytime* that doesn’t look too dressy or out of place. The stores in my area have a disappointing selection so I browsed online and found a skirt I like, the material is described as having “an outer layer of Semi Sheer cotton voile and is lined in cotton voile”. Since I can’t feel it in person I don’t know what that means. Would a cotton voile skirt be a casual comfy day skirt or a more formal one?
It does categorise as a casual fabric. But if its embroidered or embellished it can change the look of a garment making it look more dressy…
