What do you think of chocolate brown carpet for a theater room/bar?
We’re remodeling and going dark, even though I know the majority of people like light and bright. 
We are considering chocolate brown carpet in the media room. It is a shared space, serving also as a bar, which has slate tile and cosmos brown granite. Thoughts?
You’ll notice that real theatres go with dark colors, so they don’t reflect light. D. brown is fine, assuming you’re really dedicating this room to movies.
For instance, I have a ‘theatre’ room, but it’s mostly used as a family room, so I’ve goine with lighter carpets that match the rest of the house.
