my redtail shark is floating upside down but is still alive its been 3 days now?
first sign of something wrong was the day before, when he was hanging out with the filter like he was trying to get air from it.. so I called the pet shop they said it was normal for him to do then yesterday I found him floating upside down in his home pale my first reaction i put fungus tabs in the water and called the pet shop again they said do a 25% water change and add chloramine remover so i did.. my sharks fins are worn down alot parts of his body is pure white where he should be black and a slimy cotton like stuff is coming from his belly area and his poor red vibrant tail is now a dull red he’s stilI alive & I really want him to live what do I do?
He may have fungus and the treatment may take a while or he could have some type of ich but i would definitely keep asking around to ensure your sharks survival. The upside down floating is fish bladder disease.
