I need help in covering up a drape for my wedding?
There is a big red drape in the church I want to be married in. It clashes with my colors so we are trying to find something to cover it up that will also look nice..
In the church I want to have my wedding in the is a big red drape. It clashes with my colors. I have full permission to cover or take it down the drape. I need some help in trying to find a cheap way in covering it.. Taking down would leave a big hole.. So we would need another drape to take it’s place.
Do you sew or know anyone that sews? Or are there any seamstresses in your area? Go to a fabric store and buy fabric in your wedding colors and stitch a new drape. After you’re done with it you could see if the church would want it in case they have other weddings with those colors. *shrug*
How big is the hole? Could it be covered by a floral arrangement? A large photo of you and your groom? A large crucifix?
See if you can find a cheap drapery in a store somewhere in your color
