My parakeet seems really hyper the last couple days. Do they go through growth spurts?
I have a one year old parakeet that is very trained and even cuddles with me. Lately she is kind of hyper.
Flying a lot more,climbing on curtains, nipping me etc. I let her out of her cage whenever I’m home and she
gets plenty of exercise so I was wondering what would cause her to be so hyper now. Any ideas?
Actually, I know birds appear to be more active during their molting process. She also may be looking to mate. Have you gave thought to a male companion for her? Might be just what she needs.
