Need help with design of curtains…?
I have sliding glass doors in the Living Room and want to make my own curtains for them. I’ve already bought the material and the lining material, but I’m not sure how to design them for attachment to the rod. I don’t want regular rod-pocket curtains, because they don’t pull well, and I want to be able to open and close these curtains easily just by pulling them. I don’t want to have to get into making pinch pleats and all that though, or expensive drapery rods. Thanks.
A current trend that should work well for you is just a plain straight top on the curtain, then the rod has rings that have little clips on them and you just clip the curtain on. Very easy, and I like the look a lot.
