What do you think of these two paragraphs?
I lay still as the moonlight slowly seeps into my room, illuminating the dark corners. The stars twinkle in the night sky, like a thousand dancers taking the center stage. A breeze starts, making my drapes sway. Outside, all was quiet. No wildlife stirred.
I begin to fumble with my hands, examining each finger like a new species. I make my way down to my wrists, and soon up to my elbows. I touch my pale, ivory skin on my face, slowly, making my way up to my long, brown hair.
I love the first paragraph.
The second one sounds like a cheesy remake of Twilight.
