I want to sew a Shower Curtain and make a scalloped upholstered valance?
I need help figuring out how much fabric (54 inch width) I am likely to need in linear yds. My shower opening is 59 by 75
Best I can come up with~BUT~it will depend IF Your Fabric is striped and has to run one way or can go any way..would be 5 1/2 for your panels (Top to Bottom) and if you are going to upholster the valance and can run the fabric any way you’ll need about another yard and half for it. So total of 7 yards. But like I said, depending on the material..maybe a little more or less~I added in extra for your length.
