is it “kosher” to ask a sushi chef to prepare your sushi rolls according to your nutrition needs?
i am wondering if i can request things like less rice, or low fat mayo or no mayo on my sushi rolls, or is that considered “not cool”? i love sushi, but i don’t necessarily want the amount of rice or sauce they put on. i also don’t want to insult the chef! does anyone have an opinion?
You can ask for any revisions (no sesame seeds or substitute carrot for cucumber and so on) if you are having it Custom Made.
Since sushi is mainly rice which is a starch and full of carbs I don’t use sushi and nutrition in the same sentence. The little bit of fish or vegetables is overwhelmed by the rice.
