This is soooo NOT 1980′s retro…. it’s 1960′s retro…. a karaoke stage area.
It’s a weird combination of the 60′s and Art Deco…. A train station inspired …
ok. i’ve done the gold fabric on the seats and chairs and pillows with a copper gilt ceiling and copper gilt fireplace and copper gilt bar top (different rooms, but the copper and gold mix in each) and it looked absolutely smashing…everyone including an impossible to please client loved it…
so i say go for it, the cool orange lamps may not please you so go with the copper.
but then i am a bit of a copper freak.
