What kind of paint can I use on an ikea desk?
I am buying this table from Ikea:

however it only comes in this Ugly red colored. I want to paint it in white to use as a students desk. The table top is made with Fiberboard w/ acrylic paint and the filling material is paper.
What kind of paint can I safely use to keep it glossy and how much would I need of it?
Avoid using Latex paint, as it will pill of easily… or stick to your books/paper. I have a current painting project on hold. I decided to get a flat paint to avoid the stickyness. So basically, I know what not to use, rather than the what to use from past experieces ;-D Good luck and tell me how it turns out!
