I need ideas for my Living Room drapes. I have a very large picture window in my L.R. measuring 150″ x 84″
I bought some very nice curtains that are insulated (live in Mn) and also light blocking. They are called desert sand which is sort of a golden- brown color. The problem is that when they are closed at night (we live in town and want privacy) they are very boring to look at. Any ideas on how to “spruce” them up. The curtains are Pinch Pleated and are on a traverse rod. Thanks for any suggestions!
You can add a decorative trim, like a braid or tassle to the inside edge just by hot gluing on or add a 2″ decorative fabric. If you want you can use either treatments on the bottom edge instead or the leading edge You could make a valance of the same decorative fabric that you put on the edge and use a braided trim with tassels. Just stay with the same formality of the room.
