What can I do to make my Window Treatment fit?
I bought one set of drapes (2 panels) and need at least one more panel. At the time, there was another like set and I thought I would be able to go back to the store in a week and purchase them. Unfortunately, they were gone when I went back.
The drapes are a rust color, “Milan Brick”. My sliding glass door has three panels of glass at about 35 inches wide each. And the length of the drapes I purchased are 96 inches long.
The store that I bought them from is an “over-stock” store, and they will not order additional products. I have done searches on the internet and have been unsuccessful in finding the same drapes. I have even tried Ebay.
I have thought of putting a lace panel in the middle, but that would not give me complete coverage. Any help would be appreciated. I am really not good in this area.
You could add fabric to both sides of each panel, giving it a stripped look, maybe a cream or taupe. Or, buy another pair of drapes in a similar fabric, complementary color and hang them in the middle of the same rod.
