Why is there a floor drain in my laundry room? I have never seen one of these anywhere and there is an odor?
that has been coming from my laundry room for a while now. Could something not be draining right? Does that floor drain have to do with every day use or is it there incase the washing mashine over flowed or what? Thanks in advance.
The trap in the floor drain most likely dried out. Just pour a gallon of water into the drain and the odor will stop.
