why has my computer suddenly have a blue tinge and brown bar colours?
For no apparent reason after switching on my pc the colour has changed. The Information bars etc used be blue and are now brown and on photographs faces are blue. I have tried changing colour settings in control panel/advanced etc but it only changes some of the task bar or menu colours…..please help. Thank you.
Sounds like you’ve lost at least one colour.
Try re-seating the cable between the computer and the monitor. It may have worked loose.
Try replacing the cable if you have another one.
Try a different monitor
If it’s not the monitor or the cable then suspect the video card.
It may be a monitor failure, it could be a video card failure, it’s most likely to be a cable problem.
If it’s a laptop there’s a lot of the above you can’t do… if the colours work on an external monitor it’s likely to be the display panel and if the colours are still wrong on an external panel it’s likely to be ths video card, but they are built in and youcan’t change them easily.
