How high should I hang my Panel Curtains?
I’m trying to hang my panel curtains, but have no idea how high up I should place them. My window is a double window that comes to about a foot above the floor.
You can “trick” the eye and make the windows look even bigger than they are (which is a GOOD thing!) by hanging the curtain rod right under the ceiling and/or crown molding (or at least 6-18″ above the window, depending on how high your ceilings are), and letting the curtains hang to the floor. Check out HGtv.com- they do it all the time on those shows!
