Remove Door Panel and put window back on track on a 1992 Chevy Cavalier?
So in my girlfriends car, a 1992 Chevy Cavalier, her window came off the track. The same thing happened to my hyundai sonata, and i fixed it, so i offered to help her out. Does anybody have any information to help me take the door panel off or to take the door apart and put the window back on track. Thank You!
Also the car has power windows
Sure…just remove the screw on the mirror plate.Then get the ones at the door pull handle.There might be some at the very bottom…under the pocket,then just jank the panel off.The front window track is prob where it came off.Pull back the plastic vapor shield till you can see the bolt at the bottom of the front track…10mm…remove that…roll window down and reinstall the track.You might have to remove the speaker to get access.Now your a GM tech…YAY…
