Connecting an HD ready TV to Blue Ray and a older Bose 321?
I have a HD DVR hooked up to a HD ready Sony flat panel TV which I purchased 6 years ago. I also have an older model Bose 3 2 1 entertainment center. While I am viewing HD in 1080i, I am about to add a blue ray player. I plan to connect the blue ray directly to the TV, and audio to go through the Bose system. What is the best available coaxial cable to gain maximum resolution? And, what is the best available audio cable to get best sound?

HDMI is the best, if your TV has that as an input.
DVI would be the same as HDMI, but BR players don’t have DVI connectors.
Component is just the tiniest littlest bit worse than HDMI – most likely you won’t notice the difference.
For audio, either coax or optical is fine (it’s the same bits either way).
There is utterly no need to spend extra for “premium” or “monstrous” cable. Component video cable and coax digital audio cable should both be made from RG59 coax, and once you have that anything beyond that is superfluous. I buy the non-premium cables from monoprice.com.
