How do you win against an Early Riser?
I’ve tried letting him stay up later, and I’ve tried putting him to bed earlier for a real good night’s sleep. Warm milk at night, room darkening shades, white noise – nothing works. Even in the winter (when it’s dark in the morning) he’s up early.
He is up at 6:00am or earlier every day, wide awake and ready for the day. How can I get him to sleep until 7:00am? He’s 9.
The problem is, he’s loud. No matter how hard he tries, he’s just plain loud. He wakes his sister and the dogs up. Then everybody’s up.
Give it up; it’s hopeless.
Your only hope is for you to go to bed early, and get an automatic coffee maker on a timer so your help is ready when he gets up.
