I have a set of two chevy corvette flags where would I go to find out what year corvette they are from?
The flag emblems consists of a V with the checkered flag on the right and the red flag on the left with with the red,white and blue in the middle of the V.Also with the flags I got a set of two 327 emblems.Knowing that might help in determining the year. The V looks just like the V that is typed with no bottom extension like some of the years had.
I own a shop, and have worked on many of these years ago. Are you sure they are from a Corvette? You do know Corvette is not the only vehicle that had these, don’t you? I would go to one or two of the Corvette sites where they have forums, and ask around. It would even be better to see them if you had a picture of them it would help. These same flags were on a 1962 Impala SS, and had the 327 under them. As for the Corvette I would check from the 62 up to the 66, and you may hit pay dirt.
