Do sheer curtains cut off sunlight?
I want to have sheers in my room, but if I have my bed nearby, I don’t want sunlight to fade it out. Would the sheers cut sunlight off enough to stop it fading?
Yes they will scatter the light enough, but since you are worried about it you could also do this and make it look nicer too. First of all, don’t go skimpy on the curtains, don’t hang one sheer up for the entire one side of the rod, hang at least 2 panels, second hang a double rod and double the layers put a White Sheer on the first layer closest to the window and then put a darker or a different color sheer on the outside rod, so you have a layered look plus double protection should you choose to close both!
