What would be the best window treatments for my windows?
I live on a hill with a beautiful view and I don’t want to cover up my windows, however I would like to have some sort of decoration for my windows. I’m not too crazy about the sheer curtains. Just curious if someone could send me a picture of something that would look good without compromising the view. Thanks!
Sounds nice! We just use Panel Curtains on either side with short rods. That is, the rod doesn’t go all the way across the window, there are instead two of them just a couple feet long at either end of the window. The Smith and Noble website shows them, but on a doorway: http://www.smithandnoble.com (under Christopher Lowell collection, Country Living).
The ones on a window would only extend over the window by a few inches (as much or as little as you want). Plus, the sky is the limit in terms of hardware and fabric, so you can be really minimalistic or really dress it up.
