Can you clump gold leaves together to form a pure soft gold ball?
This question has been in my head for a longtime.
Is it possible? I want good answers please.
Gold leaf is very, very thin. It’s so thin it is almost not there. As a matter of fact, it is so thin you cannot handle it directly; it needs to be supported by some backing material until it is applied. Yes, you could make a gold ball, but it would take a very large amount of gold leaf, and it would cost you hundreds of dollars to get enough to do that, and even then you would end up with a very, very small ball. You’d probably have to spend a few hundred dollars to end up with a ball the size of a wad of chewing gum
