We adopted an 8 wk old kitten who is now 11 weeks and he’s doing fine though he seems to be deaf. He doesn’t hear me when I come home from work and the vacume does not bother him.

It is true however, those with blue eyes have a high chance of deafness so, that’s not to say yours won’t be deaf.
