Hang curtains without rod?
Hello all!
I am in a bit of a dilemma. I have just recently moved into a new apartment & when I attempted to hang drapes, right where I needed to hang the hook to support the drapery rod on about 1/2 inch into the wall there is a metal panel. I just can’t seem to find any way at all to hang these drapes!!! They are 2 taffeta insulated panels, because there are 2 windows side by side. So they’re not heavy but they’re not light either. The rod I bought extends to 84 in. Does anyone have ANY solution??? Thanks so much in advance!
You don’t have to put the rod support right at the ends where the window starts. You could put 2 supports in the wall closer to the center of the window and space them out enough so that the rod balances well. Since it’s not heavy then it should work. And since panels don’t have the rod going through them, they will actually hide the rod support. Good luck!
