Plant experts! What are some lush companion plants for orchids?
I have some orchids that are perfectly healthy, but their pots seem woefully empty. The spaces around them aren’t as lush and green as I would like. Are there any ferns or other lush looking houseplants than can be planted with the orchids to help green up the space? I’ve thought about using a tiered pot system where I’d put my orchid pot inside a larger pot of soil and planting the edges with ferns or something like that. I’m just not sure what sort of ferns or other plants could take the kind of conditions required by my orchids.
I have a variety of orchids and african violets. They thrive in a bright South window that’s filtered with slanted blinds and White Sheer curtains. I usually keep them set over wet rocks for adequate moisture.
