Suspect Cylinder problem !?
Hi looking for a cheap car on e-bay. how serious are these problems anyone know and around how much will they be it says on the ad
Listed below are all known faults to me:
Central Locking does not work but the alarm does
Patch of surface rust on driver’s side cill and door (no holes – see photograph)
Scuff mark and crack on front valance
Suspect cylinder head needs attention due to trace of oil in water header tank
Plastic cover missing on driver’s seat hinge
Radio needs re-setting (haven’t got the number)
Reason for sale – require a car with four doors and have secured one.

Head gasket is starting to go and will cost maybe more than the car is worth to fix – oil in water 99% certain it is this. might go for a few hundred miles or might not last even one more.
Forget the other faults as this one alone means you should not touch it with a very long barge pole
