How do you tie the laces of your Doc Martens?
I’ve gotten a new pair of Doc Martens and was wondering how you tie the laces? I see people tying the extra lace around the boots but it seems impossible to do it when you criss cross it. Any suggestions or methods? I also spot some people wearing their doc martens very far apart, such as the lace is pulled wider? Any suggestions how to do it. Thanks.
What? Take this from an old ska-skin. You tie them nice and tight using the horizontal, NOT criss cross style. Tie ‘em all the way up. You need to respect them boots as they will respect you. Never tuck pants inside them, that is very dicky.
While I’m here, make sure you keep them buffed and shined. They have been the boot of choice for four decades so make sure you know how to wear them.
I have some 12 up cherry reds and love ‘em and have worn them since I was about 6 yrs old lol. I’m an old man now.
